Explore canyons, waterfalls, miles of scenic trails along the Illinois River, and learn about the rich history of this part of our state. We will also visit the lesser known and less crowded and just as scenic Matthiessen State Park. Included in the registration fee is transportation, leadership, and lunch. All ages welcome! Those under 16 require a parent/guardian over the age of 18 to attend.

Gradpalooza will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, April 30 in the lower level of Holmes Student Center, across from Starbucks.

Enjoy cake and a sparkling cider toast as we celebrate you!Capture memorable moments with NIU's photographers; special guest appearances from NIU mascots and leadership. Feel free to bring or wear your cap and gown. Grad Images also will be there to take formal cap and gown photos that you can purchase at a later date.Decorate your graduation cap. Whether you want to go bold with glitter, keep it classy with calligraphy, or add a personal touch with meaningful symbols, we’ve got you covered.Check out the NIU Alumni Association and get a free NIU alumni license plate frame at Gradpalooza when you update your information. Also, graduate cords are available for a $20.26 donation. You can donate now to reserve your graduate cords and pick them up during Gradpalooza.Share your gratitude with your favorite professor or NIU staff member and write a note of encouragement for incoming students at our notes table.Stop by our know-before-you-go information table.
