The WoSTEM Lecture Series brings together students, faculty and community members to share stories, spark inspiration and build lasting connections across STEM fields. Launched through a collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and University Libraries, the series was initiated by Fred Barnhart, Dean of University Libraries, with support from Warren Montgomery in honor of his late wife, Carla Montgomery. Guided by an advisory panel, the series spotlights powerful voices and lived experiences that challenge, uplift and engage audiences from all walks of life.

This event is open to all NIU students, faculty, staff and community members. While we center on the experiences of women in STEM, people of all gender identities and expressions are welcome.
