Orientation and First Year Programs wants YOU to audition for an opportunity to perform for our new Huskies during Week of Welcome (WOW) 2022! 

Our WOW Kick-off event at Huskie Stadium will take place on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. This is the official welcome for our new students to NIU! During the event, along with President Freeman, we will celebrate what it means to be a Huskie by introducing campus traditions and highlighting students like you through engaging performances.  This is THE event to get our new Huskies excited about being part of our Huskie community.  

Audition Date/Time: April 20, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Sandburg Auditorium 

Who can audition? 

Students, like you! We're looking for student organizations, informal student groups, and/or clubs to audition to be a part of the event. Come prepared with a one-to-two-minute performance of choice (singing, dancing, slam poetry, etc). 

Requirements: 

• Must be a current NIU student during the fall 2022 semester. 
• Must be available Friday, Aug. 19 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. for event. 
• Must be available for a rehearsal the week of Aug. 17 (specific day/time will be provided over the summer).
