This 2-1/2-hour course uses case studies to demonstrate how family values, clinical expertise and research evidence are intertwined. Register today.
As a result of participating in this course, you’ll be able to:
- Assess how research was conducted and measured for quality.
- Integrate research with family values and clinical caregivers’ expertise to make informed care decisions.
- Describe current research trends in a variety of topics related to social communication disorders.
This course is presented by NIU speech-language pathology graduate students under the supervision of Allison Gladfelter, Ph.D., agladfelter@niu.edu, a speech-language pathology professor.
When: Noon to 2:30 p.m. April 26.
This course is offered for 0.20 ASHA CEUs (Intermediate level).
Northern Illinois University is an approved CEU provider for ASHA. Licensees should verify with their state licensing board for acceptance of continuing education units by reviewing the relevant state practice act and/or administrative code.
