Teen STEM Café: Space Exploration

Join us for an evening of out-of-this world fun as we take a trip to the moon!  NIU STEAM instructor and resident Space Cadet Jeremy Benson will get us started by leading a brief discussion about human exploration of the Moon. Afterwards, attendees will participate in a rover challenge, some hands-on activities relating to gravity and light, along with a few additional surprises. This event is free and open to families.

Teen STEM Cafés are designed by teens, for teens. Teens and their families are welcome to learn about the science behind popular topics, experience hands-on learning activities and enjoy free pizza provided by Hy-Vee.
