Inclusion in Action is a campuswide professional development series hosted by Prevention Education and Outreach. The focus of Inclusion in Action workshops is how to build healthy relationships with all members of the NIU community, including ourselves. Our goal is to showcase the wealth of knowledge and expertise that our staff, faculty and students bring with them into our community. These workshops are facilitated by experts across campus on an array of topics. Previous topics include accessibility and inclusion; bringing empathy to the workplace; and mental health and suicide prevention. If you would like to propose a topic and/or facilitate a workshop, please contact Amber Giffin, Ph.D., at agiffin@niu.edu.
