String Day provides high school orchestras and their directors with an exciting day of musical enrichment. The event includes a short performance by each group in the Music Building concert hall, an on-stage workshop led by NIU faculty member or guest artist, instrument workshops with NIU string faculty, and a performance by the renowned Avalon String Quartet.
