View mapNIU STEAM seeks submissions for their 13th annual STEM Fest event on October 15, 2022. We’re looking for artists who use, connect, or fuse their artwork to science, technology, engineering and math.
The Juried Art Exhibition is open to all NIU students, community college students and high school students.
Jurors:
Joe Insley, M.F.A., M.S.
Scholarship prizes will be awarded in high school and university categories:
- $250 for first place.
- $100 for second place.
All selected art will be displayed in the Glass Gallery at the Holmes Student Center during STEM Fest, on Oct. 15, 2022.
To submit your artwork:
You may submit up to three works of art no larger than 24” x 36”. Each submission must include a statement on how the artwork uses, connects or fuses to science, technology, engineering and math.
- Complete the form at https://go.niu.edu/STEMFestJuriedArt for each piece of art submitted.
- Email images of your artwork to rgriffith2@niu.edu. Use the subject line “STEM Fest Juried Art Exhibition Submission.”
- Selected artists will be responsible for dropping off their artwork on or before October 7, 2022, to Founders Memorial Library.
Submission deadline: Sep. 23, 2022.
