STEAM Studio - GameMaker

Interested in making your own video games but don't know where to start? In this workshop we will cover the game development engine GameMaker, making 8-bit inspired games, and developing game narratives.

In this workshop you will learn GameMaker design software, design a video game, explore popular video games and learn the essentials of game design. You’ll get to create game characters, invent game goals and rules, and learn GameMaker’s drag and drop code.

You’ll need a stable internet connection and a computer that meets our computer hardware and software requirements. This camp is highly technical and cannot be completed without the necessary hardware and software.
