STEAM Studio - Become a Weather Forecaster
Before satellites and advanced radar, weather forecasts were made by understanding cloud formations and wind directions. As a beginning weather forecaster, you’ll explore the science of weather systems and use your senses to make your own weather forecasts. In each of these three sessions you’ll make your own weather instruments and engage in fun, hands-on activities that will increase your understanding of weather forecasting.
Become a Weather Forecaster consists of three 2-week sessions. Cost: $39 per session.
If you take all three Become a Weather Forecaster Sessions, you’ll be ready for Become a Weather Forecaster 4: Creating Your Weather Forecast, that will be offered in Winter 2021.
