Our aging population is increasing the demand for healthcare services. Employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 16 percent from 2020 to 2030. Learn ways scientists are helping people live healthier and longer lives. We’ll meet with pharmacologists, biomedical engineers, epidemiologists and other health professionals as we explore a variety of health careers through hands-on investigations.

In this camp, you’ll:

• Learn about new and growing health careers from NIU faculty and industry professionals.
• Visit and engage in hands-on simulations and activities in NIU labs and classrooms.
• Work collaboratively with other campers to complete a variety of case studies and investigations.

For students entering grades 9-12.
