The State of Illinois will host an in person Benefit Choice Open Enrollment Fair at the NIU Holmes Student Center  Regency Room on May 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. State representatives, as well as various benefit vendors, will be present during the in-person fairs to answer questions.  The fair is open to all active and retired members/spouses not enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plan. Employees are provided release time to attend the fair. 

State of Illinois representatives will also host two identical presentations on FY26 plan benefits and changes in the NIU Holmes Student Center Carl Sandburg Auditorium at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
