Southeast Asian Language and Treats - TAGALOG

Come to the DuSable Hall entry area to learn about the Tagalog language, the language of the Philippines, and sample some treats!

This is an International Education Week (IEW) event, sponsored by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies.

“50 Years of International Excellence" is the theme of this year’s IEW on campus, as the Division of International Affairs celebrates its 50th anniversary!

Sponsored by the Division of International Affairs, IEW, which begins Monday, November 18 and runs through Friday, November 22, draws attention to NIU’s increasing strides towards internationalization at NIU.

IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, and has as its goal the promotion of programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. (https://iew.state.gov/)
