Learn to make Thai New Year decorations, win prizes in our trivia game, and take pictures at our photobooth from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in the Lobby of the NIU Music Building, then stay to enjoy the Thai Music Concert by The NIU Thai Music Ensemble, led by Ajaan Chamni Sripraram, with special guest performers, the Kent State Thai Music Ensemble, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall.  

NIU is home to one of the oldest Thai language programs in the United States and the NIU Thai Music Ensemble is one of three university-level Thai music ensembles in the nation. The Concert is part of the annual World Music Festival hosted by the NIU World Music Program.
