"Major" at the Egyptian Theatre

DeKalb County Pride is proud to present a FREE showing of the documentary film Major! This inspiring and empowering film follows the life and activism of Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a transgender elder and pioneer in the LGBTQ rights movement. Through her personal story, the film explores the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality, and highlights the ongoing struggles and resilience of transgender communities.

After the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring local activists and community leaders who will reflect on the themes of the film and share their own perspectives and experiences. This will be a unique opportunity to engage in dialogue and learn from diverse voices, and to celebrate the diversity and strength of our community. Don’t miss this important event!

No RSVP or registration is required.
