The Latino Resource Center, the College of Law, and the Latinx Law Student Association are partnering to bring you the Latines in Law-Selena Series. Selena Quintanilla, an icon in the music industry and Latino community still is as influential even 30 years after her murder. The series will review Selena's impact in music and discuss case law and parole as her Yolanda Saldivar's eligibility for parole draws near.
The first in the Series is video screening and discussion of Selena Quintanilla's legacy in the music industry, in the Latino community, and reflecting on criminal law and parole eligibility of her killer.
