See your new home as a Huskie and jump in to engaging with our greater community! Grab friends (and meet new ones) on a bus tour of DeKalb, meet nonprofits and find a way to volunteer, and write an encouraging card to a local high schooler to give back. 

• ENGAGE with local nonprofits and learn about the great work they are doing in DeKalb and how you can volunteer.
• EXPLORE DeKalb by taking a fun 30 minute bus tour of the community lead by DeKalb Mayor Barnes and other community leaders showcasing all the great spots, best kept secrets, and DeKalb favorites.  
• SERVE by helping to make From Huskies With Love goodies bags for local high school seniors and Kish College students to encourage them as they start the school year.
