Role Playing Games STEAM Camp

Role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons are a pop culture hit. They’re not just fun – they’re a great way to learn and practice important STEAM skills. This camp is designed to help players of all levels gain valuable experience while developing abilities like improvisation, creative problem solving, communication and teamwork – the skills which are vital for any quest you might choose to undertake, in-game or in real life. Design and take the role of your own character, create a 3D character model, and practice creative storytelling and improvisation as you go on quests with your fellow campers at the scenic Lorado Taft Field Campus.

Recommended for students entering grades 6-9.

* Families will drop campers off and pick them up at NIU DeKalb. Campers will travel by bus to Lorado Taft.
