The Department of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment and the Institute for the Study of the Environment, Sustainability and Energy presents the Research Experience for Undergraduates Poster Session.

Join us on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Regency Room of the Holmes Student Center. Undergraduate researchers will present findings from their summer investigating water quality and karst hydrogeology across the Yucatan Peninsula. Poster topics include microplastics, antibiotic resistance, organic compounds of emerging concern, groundwater flow in karst systems and plastic detection methods.

Light refreshments will be served.
