The festival is includes fiction films, documentaries and animations (under 30 minutes) produced by high school, undergraduate and graduate students from across the United States and around the world.

The selected films vary in genre and focus on strong characters, and meaningful storytelling. There is a Best in Show Award for each category as well as an award for the best high school film.

It is free and open to the public.
