Join the Pick Museum of Anthropology on Zoom Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 11am - 12pm for Pros at the Pick! We will be chatting with Ruth Allen from the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University.

Ruth Allen joined the Carlos Museum in 2019 as Curator of Greek and Roman Art. Prior to this, she worked at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles and the British Museum in London. Ruth gained her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge with a thesis on engraved Roman gemstones, her MA at the Courtauld Institute of Arts, and her BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge. She is currently preparing an exhibition on engraved gemstones opening at the Carlos in August 2022.
