Plastic’s Not Always Fantastic

Plastic is everywhere!  While plastics make for incredibly useful tools in our everyday lives, it is when they are no longer useful to us and are discarded that they become problems – littering our landscapes and polluting our water systems.  In this workshop, we will discuss what happens to our trash, why plastics are particularly challenging, and some ways that you can make small changes to reduce your use of plastics – especially single use disposables.
