Menopause will directly affect about half of the population at some point in their lives. Yet the experience, and how it may affect one’s work, career and the workplace, is not well understood and rarely discussed.

Facilitators will apply the lens of universal design to begin exploring how supervisors and colleagues can create a workplace climate and environment that supports the needs of folks experiencing (peri)menopause while also benefiting others.

This session is intended to: (a) make space for conversation; (b) create a venue for sharing information, resources and personal experiences; and (c) inspire curiosity in participants to learn more about how (peri)menopause may affect individuals and the workplace more broadly.
