The controlled and warm water environment of the Anderson Pool is the best place to learn kayaking skills in northern Illinois this spring. You can’t find this kind of lesson nearby but with NIUOA! During the 2-hour clinic, we will introduce you to many kayaking skills such as boat anatomy, boat care, paddle strokes, boat edging, bracing, wet exits, and re-entry blending skill instruction with coaching and practice. Beginners and first timers are welcome. Included in the registration fee is equipment (kayak, paddle, PFD) and instruction with an experienced instructor. All ages welcome!
