Join us for an exciting series of First Friday Evening Hikes at various stunning forest preserves throughout DeKalb County. These free hikes are designed to provide fun and enjoyment for all ages, making it the perfect family friendly activity for a Friday evening. 

Mark your calendars for the first Friday of every month as we embark on a new adventure to a different forest preserve each month. Each hike presents a unique experience, ensuring there's always something fresh and exciting to discover. 

Lace up your hiking boots, grab a water bottle and get ready to create lasting memories in the embrace of local nature. 

This is a free event. Meet us at the the location. Rides are available from NIU Rec Center if needed. Contact us for more information.  

Please register in advance so we can communicate additional information. Registration closes at noon on the day of the hike.
