Create, innovate, collaborate!

The De La Vega Innovation Lab in Barsema Hall is open to all NIU students, staff and faculty at select times each week. During Open Lab, utilize our technology such as our 3D printer, Cricut vinyl cutter, presentation stage and wireless microphones and conferencing technologies. The lab is also equipped with art supplies and rolling whiteboards. A student worker will be present to show you around the room and give tutorials on the lab's resources.

*Launchpad Studio: This is an extension of the De La Vega Innovation Lab's open lab hours where you can find individual guidance for your entpreneurial or innovative pursuits. To schedule a Launchpad Studio introductory meeting, email beccahusar@niu.edu. From there, you will be connected to mentors, resources, and events to help guide you in in executing your vision.
