Online STEAM Camp: Kitchen Counter Scientist

Turn your kitchen into your own personal scientific laboratory! The goal of this camp is to look at your kitchen and see STEAM happening all around you. Learn the kitchen safety tips you need and the properties of certain foods that make them taste the way they do. Create some interesting dishes by combining your new knowledge of cooking and basic household kitchen materials.

This camp will meet online from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. daily. Campers will spend another 1 to 3 hours each day constructing and testing their projects, some of which may also be online. This camp is recommended for students in grades 3-6 but may be accessible to older students or younger students with additional support.
