Online STEAM Camp: Cell Phone Photographer: Exploring Digital Photography

Learn the technology and the art behind one of the world’s most popular pastimes: photography. Discover how the pros work as you create your own photographs in preparation for an online art show. Find out how much fun photography can be when you work with others who love it as much as you do. This camp is designed for all aspiring photographers. Use anything from a smartphone camera to a digital SLR to explore your love of photography.

This camp will meet online from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. daily. Campers will spend another 1 to 3 hours each day constructing and testing their projects, some of which may also be online. This camp is recommended for students in grades 5-9 but may be accessible to older students or younger students with additional support.
