As educators, our effort to support LGBTQ+ students shouldn’t begin and end with acknowledging pronouns and identifying the nearest gender-inclusive bathrooms. Even if the topic of your course doesn’t include identity, LGBTQ+ students benefit when their perspectives are taken into consideration during course development.
