About this Event
Virtual Event
Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
In book chats, we read the book so that you don’t have to! During this book chat, we will discuss Ungrading: Why Rating Students Undermines Learning (and What to Do Instead), edited by Susan D. Blum. In this book, fifteen educators write about their diverse experiences going gradeless. Together, we will look at the examples of how to practice ungrading in humanities, social sciences, and STEM fields. This book discusses both strategies for the transformative practice of ungrading as well as honest reflection on its challenges. There will be opportunities to share experiences, ask questions, and connect with colleagues. Advance registration is required. Register Now!
