In honor of Indigenous Heritage Month, join us in celebrating the corn, traditions & lifeways of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and learn how to bead your own “Indian corn” earrings or keychain. This event will be held on Monday, November 25th from 1-4pm at the Founders Memorial Library on the lower level staff lounge.
Facilitated by Leah Stroobants, Cultural Engagement Specialist for Oneida Tourism of Wisconsin, and Nicole Holland, Director of Advising for NIU College of Health and Human Sciences. Hosted by the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center and the College of Health and Human Sciences and the Division of Academic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in collaboration with the Latino Resource Center and the Undocumented Student Resource Center.
