OHANA! presents Lunar New Year Celebration
Asian American Resource Center(AARC) presents OHANA!
“OHANA!” means family and family means no one is left behind or forgotten!
“OHANA!” helps students navigate college life at NIU, connects students with relevant campus resources, raises awareness on cultural issues, and provides an atmosphere for students to build community. “OHANA!” can be students ‘home away from home!’
On Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sky Room, Holmes Student Center, OHANA! is presenting “Lunar New Year Celebration” to celebrate and learn about the traditions of the Lunar New Year, particularly in Korean and Vietnamese contexts. This event is presented by our Graduate Assistant Carlo Aseron who is assisted by our Mentors and AARC Staff. Join us! Fun and engaging games with delicious cultural food are waiting for you.
