PCSW invites nominations for three faculty/staff awards

The Presidential Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) is accepting nominations for three faculty/staff awards. The nomination deadline for all three awards is March 13, 2023. Nominations for each award require a nominator and two additional letters of support.

• Wilma D. Stricklin Award - This award is given to an individual who has made continual and extraordinary contributions to the climate for women on campus.
• Outstanding Mentor Award - This award is presented to one or two NIU civil service, professional staff or faculty members who have shown exceptional commitment to advancing the educational and/or career goals of NIU women.
• Sharon Howard Faculty/Staff who Make a Difference Award- This award is presented to one or two NIU civil service, professional staff or faculty members who have shown dedication to the empowerment of NIU women by making changes at the unit level that address issues important to women.
