NIU's Lavender Graduation Ceremony celebrates the achievements and persistence of graduates at all degree levels and programs with underrepresented gender and sexual identities, centering LGBTQ+ students and alumni (including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, agender, queer, non-heterosexual and non-binary/gender non-conforming identifying students).

All are welcome to support the graduates. This event is free to students and guests.

Supportive guests do not need to RSVP.
