The NIU Communiversity Gardens have been hard at work planning for the 2022 season!

We welcome students, faculty, staff and community members to volunteer to help out and work in the gardens.

Volunteering and participating in service projects are great ways to supplement the academic experience of college or to learn new skills for an abundant life.

All seeds have been sown and several projects are beginning to sprout up. But we have a lot of preparations before it's time to plant.

Our opening day for volunteers is Wednesday, April 6.   

Join us to volunteer this spring on Wednesdays through May 11 any time between 3 and 5 p.m.

Visit and volunteer in our community vegetable garden and learn about our apprentice program.
