Put on your pajamas and come join us for books and cookies! The NIU Autism Caregiver Group, Child Development and Family Center, and the Center for the Interdisciplinary Study of Language and Literacy are hosting this event on how to incorporate literacy into bedtime routines! Informational resources will be available (in English and Spanish), and there will be a member from the DeKalb Public Library available to register interested attendees for a library card onsite. Child attendees will receive their very own cookie, book, and blanket to take home and keep. A sensory-friendly space will be available for quiet book reading too. This event will be on March 23 from 4:45-5:45 pm.
