NIU students and staff are invited to join Chef Bryan Flower of Edible Campus and Silvia Salamanca, an NIU student minoring in Latino Studies, for a cooking demonstration of the authentic Columbian dish, Chicken and Fried Arepa. The demonstration will be held at the Huskie Den inside the Holmes Student Center. Free samples of the dish will be made available and students can pick up the recipe and ingredients starting October 2 at the Huskie Food Pantry from 4-6 p.m. during normal pantry operations.
