- Price: The NIU Homecoming Concert presenting Coi Leray is a FREE private event for NIU students, faculty and staff. Limited tickets available due to venue capacity so you will need to RSVP. No tickets will be on sale at the venue.
About Coi Leray:
Coi Leray is a chart-topping rapper, singer, and songwriter known for her energetic performances, bold style, and genre-blending sound. Rising to fame with hits like “No More Parties,” “Twinnem,” and her viral smash “Players,” she has quickly become one of today’s most exciting voices in hip hop and pop. With collaborations alongside artists like Nicki Minaj and a growing list of platinum singles, Coi continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide.

Ticket Information & Policies
This event is created for the NIU community - students, faculty, and staff. Tickets are free to ensure everyone can take part, and any attempt to resell or misuse them takes away from that shared experience.
- Admission is limited to current NIU students, faculty, and staff.
- The name on the ticket must match the NIU OneCard presented at entry.
- Tickets are non-transferable and may not be used by anyone other than the individual named.
- Lending or borrowing NIU OneCards is prohibited and will result in referral to the Student Code of Conduct.
- Reselling free tickets is strictly prohibited. If you see or hear of resale activity, please report it to https://cglink.me/2sZ/s780.
- NIU Homecoming Concert is intended for the NIU community. Individuals not affiliated with the university should not attend the event. Event staff reserve the right to deny entry to any individual.
- No re-entry. One ticket per NIU student. No tickets will be on sale at the venue.
- Clutch purses are permitted but cannot be larger than 5.5"x 8.5"x3" (approximately the size of a half sheet of 8 1/2x11 paper). Please leave all other bags in your vehicle. All bags are subject to inspection.
Restricted Items
The following items are not permitted into the Egyptian Theatre. Such items will be asked to be disposed of or returned to the vehicle.
- Video cameras, selfie sticks, monopods, tripods, audio recording equipment, and cameras with detachable lenses, are not permitted.
- Any food or drink (including restaurant to-go boxes). Empty water bottles may be brought in but must be empty upon entry.
- Laser pointers.
- Helium balloons.
- Pocket knives with any blades over 2”, pepper spray, and weapons of any kind. Objects that appear to be weapons (toy guns or knives, squirt guns, etc.)
- Concealed carry is strictly prohibited in the Egyptian Theatre.
- Any wheeled mobility device unless specifically for medical or accessibility reasons.
- Suitcases, coolers, backpacks, or large bags. Coolers required for medication may be stored with theatre staff.
- Pets or animals. Service animals are allowed. Emotional support animals are not allowed.
- Large costumes that would impede the comfort or sight-lines of other patrons, any mask or hood covering more than just the mouth and nose of an individual. Religious head coverings are allowed.
- Outside food or drink is not permitted. The theatre has a concession stand which is in operation for all events and features Coke products, popcorn, and candy. All items may be taken into the theatre during events. The Egyptian Theatre accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and most contactless pay options, along with Egyptian Theatre gift cards.
Transportation and Parking
We’re making it easier to get downtown!
We have a few extra buses that will run continuously from 4:30 –10 PM. Make sure you get on a bus clearly marked NIU Homecoming 2025:
- Pick-up at Grant North (in front of the residence hall - 2 yellow school buses)
- Pick-up at the Holmes Student Center bus turnaround ( 1 yellow school bus)
- Buses will run every 15–30 minutes ( once they are full) back and forth between these stops and Downtown DeKalb ( Locust & 2nd street)
- Huskie Buses will run their regular service.
- Students can utilize the Huskie Bus Line/City of Dekalb Public Transit Route 17 at Holmes Student Center to travel to the venue. That route will drop off at Lincoln Highway & Pearl Street which is approximately a 6-minute walk to the Egyptian Theatre.
- Public parking through the City of Dekalb, there are multiple lots within walking distance of the theatre. All public parking lots are free of charge. Parking may be limited due to the Downtown Huskie Homecoming Block Party.
