NIU faculty and staff are cordially invited to NIU BookLab's Faculty Open House! Learn about NIU's newest interdisciplinary makerspace and teaching resources with drop-in activities designed to jump start hands-on learning about text and technology, information exchange, and design. 

3:30-5:30: Drop in and print an NIU-themed poster for your office using a historic printing press. Learn how to request the space for student experiential and creative projects.

3:45-4pm: Tour Rare Books and Special Collections and learn how to request a class visit, locate relevant collections and resources for class projects, and more.

4-4:30: Make your own notebook at the lab! An easy and fun activity that you can do with students.
