Nature Ed Series: Winter Tracking at West Lagoon / DeKalb, IL
Nature Ed is a new monthly program offered through NIU Outdoor Adventures and Lorado Taft staff.
Where do birds go in the winter? Do groundhogs really hibernate? Join us for a fun filled class on how animals survive the winter! We will focus on how Illinois animals make it through our coldest months and look for tracks and signs of what our furry friends are up to right now. This class is open to all ages and entirely outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Date and TIme: Sunday, January 24 from 1-2:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 student or $7 non-student payable by cash or check (made out to NIU) at the time of the event. To register please contact Shannon at sforney1@niu.edu.
