Naming ceremony for Fanny Ruth Patterson Complex

Join the NIU community for the naming ceremony of Fanny Ruth Patterson Complex, formerly known as New Hall. 

Fanny Ruth Patterson was the first African American to graduate from Northern Illinois University. To learn more about Patterson and the building dedicated in her name, visit NIU Today.

No RSVP is necessary and all are encouraged to attend. Free parking will be available at the Student Recreation Center parking lot and overflow parking will be available in the Visitor's Lot. View locations of campus parking lots.

This building dedication is part of a series of events taking place during NIU's 115th Homecoming celebration during the week of Oct. 3-9, 2022.
