Please join us for another Lunch and Learn in conjunction with the "Good Food" exhibition at the Pick Museum of Anthropology.
Professor Melissa Lenczewski (Department of Earth, Atmosphere, and Environment and Institute for the Study of Environment, Sustainability and Energy) will discuss projects assessing impact of land use changes on water quality in the south branch of the Kishwaukee River Watershed.
Professor Emily McKee (Department of Anthropology and Institute for the Study of Environment, Sustainability and Energy) will address water access by exploring not only the direct impacts of inequitable water access on crop production, but also its widely rippling effects for farmers and farming communities through a case study in Palestine.
Lunch for students is generously provided by Huskie Harvest.
