LLI: The Art of Public Speaking: Lessons from Famous Speeches in History with Convener Jitka Hurych
In this course, participants will get a chance to hear great speeches, as well as learn practical tips for any public speaking situation: overcoming fear and other obstacles, using voice and body language, practicing, sharing personal experience and using stories, when possible.
Convener: Jitka Hurych has been a member of LLI since her retirement from the NIU Library. She has already presented several courses for LLI, most recently on language and society.
