Teaching basic de-escalation techniques has been one of the most requested topics we have received in our office from employees and supervisors.  During this workshop, we will be discussing if and when individuals should attempt de-escalation basic techniques, things to not do which may escalate situations, and tips to use to facilitate basic de-escalation processes.  This workshop is not designed for serious/dangerous situations and we will be discussing when you should seek outside support.  Presented by Lesley Gilbert, Assistant Director, EWB & Training Center
