"The Mind: A War Won with Resilience" is a modified variation of Mathis' TEDX presentation. Interweaving her journey with mental illness, repeated failures and unexpected, life-altering events, Mathis uses humor, visual displays and real-life, relatable scenarios to captivate and ignite the inner fighter and survivor in all of us. The audience will leave inspired and motivated with practical takeaways, also known as “Jade’s JEMS,” to help confidently navigate unexpected events and setbacks while remaining resilient.
