This workshop is a part of the new Inclusion in Action series that aims to support positive and effective working relationships within the workplace and across the university. 

Join us for an engaging and participatory workshop led by Acting Director of Social Justice Education, J Pappas, on addressing bias and microaggressions in the workplace. Employees will talk through how bias operates and how it can show up as harmful behaviors in the workplace. Participants will learn how to recognize and address bias in themselves, as well as strategies for interrupting microaggressions for others. Self- and community-care to promote personal growth and support advocacy of others will also be discussed during this 90-minute session.
