The office of Innovation is proud to present the Innovation Conversation series for the spring semester. Joining us is Rick McNary who is an innovator and advocate in the hunger space as evidenced by the development of the Kansas Hunger Dialogue model – in partnership with Universities Fighting World Hunger - which gathers top administrators, faculty, and students from Kansas’ institutions of higher learning to collaborate on hunger. Rick is also the 2012 recipient of a National Innovation Award from the Alliance to End Hunger for his Healthy foods/Hunger Free Community model.
Rick and I will be talking about what regions can do and are doing to fight hunger, and how the food system plays a role.
