Huskie First Gen-Celebration Luncheon

As the proud home of a significant number of first-generation college students, NIU is joining universities across the country to celebrate first-gen students with a series of events which include a luncheon on Monday, November 7, at 1 p.m., in the Illinois Room of the Holmes Student Center. Lunch will be provided by NIU Catering. The event will include an opportunity for Huskie First-Gens to connect with a variety of campus partners that can help maximize the Huskie First-Gen experience including Student Financial Advising Services, Honors, the Huskie Academic Support Center, TRio, CHANCE,  and Academic Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
