Huskie Academic Support Center Undergraduate Employment Open House

Are you looking for a campus job for Fall 2021? Do you help your peers with their writing or math or study skills?

The Undergraduate Employment Open House provides an opportunity to meet with Huskie Academic Support Center staff to gain a better understanding about employment as a coach/SIL on campus.

During this open house you'll move among breakout rooms in Blackboard Collaborate to learn more about the Writing Center, Peer Academic Coaches, and Supplemental Instruction. You'll also have a chance to win one of four $25.00 Amazon gift cards.

The agenda is as follows:

  • Welcome: Huskie Academic Support Center staff will explain how the event will work: breakout rooms, raffle, etc.
  • Breakout rooms: Participants will spend roughly 10 minutes in each breakout room to learn more about specific aspects of working for the Huskie Academic Support Center and be able to ask questions.
  • Closing: Confirm how to proceed if participants want to apply for a position and announce the raffle winners.

Each breakout session will focus on a particular aspect of Huskie Academic Support Center.
