NIU Communiversity Gardens: Autumn Brunch Bowls Fundraiser
Brunch is made better with good company, fresh-cut flowers and herbs.
Join us for a hybrid planting experience with our Autumn Brunch Bowls fundraiser and support the NIU Communiversity Gardens. We'll provide you with the materials and education needed to start your own indoor planter with a mix of flowers and herbs.
After registering you'll receive a link to choose from 20 plants, including herbs such as rosemary, lavender, thyme, mint and chive as well as flowers including borage, rose bee balm, snap dragon and nasturtium. The $25 registration cost supports scholarships for our student interns and covers the cost of the bowls, gravel, soil and plants.
We will host the in-person portion of the hybrid workshop the in Montgomery Hall, Greenhouse Room 214. In-person registration is limited.
The online portion is for any one wishing to join from home. Kits will be available for pickup each day of the week before the event.
